Fresh air, dreamy skies, sandy toes, and your family — the beach really is the perfect setting for family photos.

There’s something about the shore that lets kids just be kids. Dipping their toes in the ocean, playing in the sand, running from the waves, and snuggling up with you in between. Those are always the moments I love most.

As a South Jersey shore family photographer, I offer natural, playful, and relaxed beach photography from Brigantine to Cape May, including Ocean City and Wildwood.

FAQ

When is the best time for a session?


The hour before sunset is always the most beautiful, but sometimes that’s just not realistic with littles! I offer both early morning and evening sessions, so it truly depends on what works best for your family.

Where should we have the session?


During our design consultation, we’ll talk about where you’re staying and I’ll recommend a few nearby beach access points that would be ideal for your session. I offer beach sessions from Brigantine to Cape May and have experience photographing families all along the South Jersey shore!

What if it rains?




Summer weather can be fickle, so we’ll watch the forecast and make the decision together a few hours before your session. During our design consultation, we’ll also schedule a rain date so we already have a backup plan in place.

FAQ

What if my kids just want to play on the beach and don’t cooperate?


Please let them! The best images are always those natural, in-between moments. I’ll make sure to get your posed family photo, but it’ll be sandwiched between lots of playing, games and fun.


What if it’s cloudy or windy?



I love cloudy days at the shore! The soft, consistent light is beautiful for photos, and the clouds can add some really pretty texture to the sky.


There’s almost always some wind at the beach, but really windy days can be difficult. If the winds are extreme, we’ll treat it just like rain and make the decision together the day of your session.


What should we wear?



After booking, we’ll meet for your design consultation and talk about your family’s style, what photographs well at the beach, and what everyone should wear. I’ll help you put everything together so you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
